Take a trip back in time to Il Triangolo in the historic neighborhood of Corona. This charming Italian restaurant gets its name from the remarkable triangular building it is housed in, which dates back to 1916. At the beginning of the 20th Century, a trolley car used to run past it, down Corona Avenue en route to Maspeth.
The gregarious owner, Edwin Nunez, purchased Il Triangolo in January and kept its traditional menu and loyal clientele, while adding a special tapas menu that reflects his familyβs Spanish heritage, using his motherβs famous recipes.
